Breast Augmentation with Fillers Q&A

A. Breast fillers are recommended for those who want to achieve a more natural appearance after breast implant surgery, such as in cases of implant rippling, when they want to create a closer-looking cleavage, or when they want to add more volume to the upper breasts.

A. For body filler treatments, we use Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM) and Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a commonly used facial filler, with effects lasting approximately 6 months to 2 years, depending on the individual. We inject an appropriate amount within a safe range to minimize the risk of complications.

Acellular Dermal Matrix is also widely used in breast reconstruction, including for patients who have undergone total mastectomy, to provide additional coverage for thin skin. It is a material approved by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). When the two materials are used together, after some of the material is naturally absorbed, the remaining tissue can provide a long-lasting, semi-permanent effect that becomes integrated with the body’s own tissue.

A. As with fillers, fat grafting should be performed by evenly distributing an appropriate amount of fat rather than grafting too much at once in order to achieve satisfactory results without complications.
