Precautions After
ADM Buttocks Augmentation

  • Procedure: This procedure involves transplanting human tissue.
  • Alcohol and smoking: Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least one month after surgery, as they can delay wound healing and cause inflammation. They may also cause blood vessels to narrow and weaken your immune system.
  • Buttock support tape: The tape provides consistent pressure to help control bleeding and swelling. If it becomes very itchy, contact your patient coordinator. Otherwise, leave it in place until the clinic removes it during your treatment appointment.
  • Nutrition and rest: Eat a high-calorie, high-protein diet to help the grafted tissue establish itself. Getting enough sleep also supports recovery.
  • Clothing and pressure: Avoid clothing that tightly compresses your buttocks. Avoid massage or positions that put pressure on your buttocks for at least one month and up to three months.
  • Light stretching: You may resume two days after surgery.
  • Aerobic exercise: You may resume one week after surgery.
  • Strength training: You may resume four weeks after surgery.

Complications such as bleeding, infection, and inflammation may occur after surgery, and individual satisfaction with the results may vary. Please consult your doctor.
